Here are some vintage TV commercials of Wilkins coffee that aired way before the muppet show and other Jim Henson movies.

I know these were posted around the web about two years ago but I found them again and thought they would be worth a second look.

Wilkins was a coffee maker out of Washington DC in the late 1950s. They employed a twenty-something Jim Henson to promote their coffee.  I am not sure if it was cheap coffee or not but the commercial spots were short and sweet only about a few seconds each.

The anniversary of Jim Henson's passing is next month these vintage tv commercials are just the reminder that if you have a passion and follow it through to the end you have left behind something important for people of later generations to remember.
